Even better overview of your efforts in capacity planning: With the new grouping function, you can group your project phases in capacity planning according to different categories, such as project, urgency or project manager. The number and total effort of all project phases per group are displayed. Practical, isn't it?

Let's get started in capacity planning. Open the sorting function via the toolbar and select the category by which you want to group your project phases. We will show you how to do this using three examples.

Grouping by project

Let's start with the Project category. If you click on this, your project phases are grouped by project and you can see the number of project phases for each week (white number) and the personnel costs for all project phases (orange number).

Grouping by project manager

If you group by project manager, the project phases that the project manager is working on this week are displayed, including the workload.

Grouping by urgency

If you group by urgency, the project phases are sorted by high, medium & low and, as in the other examples, the number of phases and the personnel costs are displayed.

Switching the grouping function on and off

Use the i button to the left of the printer symbol in the toolbar to activate or deactivate the grouping function.

Have fun trying it out!
