Preparations had been in full swing since midday: with garlands, flowers and balloons, we transformed the idyllic courtyard of our office into a location worthy of a five-year anniversary. And the efforts paid off: our customers arrived in the afternoon and we kicked off the celebrations with a cosy aperitif.
We deliberately kept the obligatory speech on the company's progress over the last five years short and instead focussed on introducing our international team. From IT to marketing to sales, each of us briefly talked about ourselves and our tasks at Vanillaplan - because we wanted to show our customers who is actually behind Vanillaplan and works on the software every day.
Of course, we didn't just want to be the centre of attention ourselves, but above all to encourage an exchange between our customers. For the following interactive part of the event, we had therefore prepared questions about the use of Vanillaplan, through which experiences and tips could be exchanged in mixed teams. The discussions were extremely lively and it was impressive to see how versatile the software is used in different projects. Meanwhile, the barbecue was already sizzling in the background - dinner was waiting in the wings.
At the end of the day, the buffet was finally opened. We rounded off the evening with delicious food and cosy conversations in the mild evening air. An all-round successful anniversary day!
